Our new over-sized rests provide extra control when grinding larger workpieces and are ideal for those wanting more real-estate when using bevel jigs.

The 450x200mm work rest is fixed using a welded steel tooling arm. The 60mm deep notch around the platen provides ample support for awkward work pieces and when grinding or plunging on an angle.

The powder-coated 6mm laser cut steel plate makes for an extremely rigid work platform.

Compatible with Shop Mate 2x48" and Shop Master 2x72" belt grinders, simply select size option at checkout.

I recently upgraded to the over-size rest & I’m glad I did. The over size rest provides much more real estate to move a Bevin jig around, especially for longer knives. A well made 84 Engineering product, I highly recommend it.

This device is designed with fitness for use and, is perfect for assisting with bevel grinds using a jig. It is also an asset when grinding longer billets. further, I have set up a simple jig in conjunction with the rest for surface grinding longer billets, and works a treat.
