Our 225mm diameter discs are precision CNC machined from billet 6061 Aluminum, ensuring a perfectly flat work face. The Aluminum is lightweight and provides exceptional heat dissipation and rigidity. A 10ᵒ relief on the disc edge makes sanding into tight areas and grinding crisp corners a breeze. The disc is sized so that standard 230x280mm sandpaper / abrasive sheets can be used. We recommend using 3M feathering adhesive or kraft spray adhesive to attach sheet to disc, then trimming the excess.
Discs are available to suit either 19mm (1-1.5hp) or 24mm (2hp) keyed motor shaft. We recommend 4 pole motors for discs due to more suitable RPM for disc grinding. Our discs should be run at an absolute maximum rpm 2880rpm.
