Sait zirconia belts use a Zirconia Alumina abrasive on a H (medium) weight polyester backing. Zirconia belts are extremely sharp and relatively friable, making them ideal for rapid stock removal of softer materials such as timber, plastics, aluminium, G10 etc (ideal for shaping knife handles).

Just started making knives and found these belts very hard but they removed stock quite easily. Need to spend more time on the belts to fully appreciate the quality and learn how to use the side of the platen more efficiently.
